On our arduous, risky and long PhD journeys, and after facing high methodological waves, theoretical storms and empirical data as difficult to gather as catching fish we arrived ten days ago to a the beautiful port of Ljubljana, land of bridges protected by dragons. Here we met other academic sailors hailing from different realms but also as burdened as we. In this agora we discussed each other’s navigational charts, how to use some tools, experiences of the past and desires for the future. We met sirens singing beautiful songs that inspired and confused us at the same time. But now it´s time to sail on and continue our PhD missions, towards the doctoral horizon, as we hum the songs of the sirens but without losing our way…
